Drew Brees recently underwent shoulder surgery which complicates his return to the NFL
ESPN’s Ed Werder tweeted Tuesday that he believes that he isn’t taking Drew Brees’ comments about playing football seriously. According to Ed Werder, the star quarterback recently underwent a shoulder surgery on his non-throwing arm.
If the quarterback was considering a return, the shoulder surgery means he wouldn’t be able to play football until at least September or October.
Drew made the comments the other night that he has not fully made up his decision. Many oddsmakers believe Drew Brees will stay retired, but you never know if they make a playoff run.
