Massachusetts High School star running back James Galante was killed in a car accident | Just 18-years-old

James Galante was a solid running back and defensive back for Marblehead High School. The 18-year-old high school standout had a bright future. He was very athletic and helped lead his team to a 12-0 record.
Galante had recently committed to Denison University in Ohio to continue playing football. Denison University is a D3 football program.
According to a Marblehead Police report, 18-year-old James Galante, of Marblehead, died of injuries he suffered in a car crash off the town’s causeway early Friday morning.
According to WCVB, Police officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had gone off the causeway at 3 a.m. Friday and they, along with firefighters, found that vehicle — about halfway down the causeway on the harbor side — with extensive damage and one person inside.
The victim of the crash, later identified as Galante, received medical treatment at the scene and was transported to an area hospital by ambulance with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Please keep the family and school in your prayers. He is a very solid player and he will be missed.
