Jury acquits 24-year-old man that murdered the brother of Buffalo Bills defensive end, Mario Addison
Darrius Frazier, a 24-year-old who was facing capital murder was acquitted in the 2019 slaying of Gjamal Antonio Rodriguez and wounded his girlfriend Dedria Johnson.
On Friday, a jury that spent two days deliberating to find out whether Frazier fired his gun in self-defense made their decision. Frazier was acquitted of the charge.
Rodriguez was the brother of NFL lineman Mario Addison of the Buffalo Bills.
It was a wild case, according to documents Rodriguez shot the house of Frazier six times and Frazier returned fire in a prior incident. On the day of the killing, Rodriguez was parked outside the house of Frazier and that is when Frazier ran to the trunk of his car, pulled out a rifle and shot Rodriguez and his car 16 times, hitting Rodriguez 8 times kiling him.
I am not sure what to believe here, but there was definitely some bad blood between the two men.
