Michigan High School football player Tate Myre rushed active shooter risking his own life to save others

Tate Myre is a hero. We need to hear his name more. The 16-year old standout football player at Oxford High School in Michigan risked his life to save his fellow classmates.
The police tried to rush Myre to the hospital in the back of a patrol car, but he unfortunately lost his life from the wounds.
Myre was a linebacker and H-Back for Oxford High School. Myre is a hero, and the school is already reacting. On Tuesday night, more than 25,000 people had signed a petition online to rename the school’s stadium after Tate, who had recently earned an all-region award from the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association.
Several others also died in the attack, to include Madisyn Baldwin, 17, Justin Shilling, 17, and Hana St. Juliana, 14.
