Who is your role model, and why?
My father because of how he raised me and that he was always there for me.
Who was your favorite teacher?
Kevin Cochrane because I developed more than just a student teacher relationship with him he would ask me about my football career and come watch my games.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
I also played baseball growing up
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Morgan Fox from CSU Pueblo he made it a challenge the whole game and made me give it my all every play
Who is the most underrated player on your team?
Aaron Simon’s he is a very physical player who also understands football very well. He’s underrated because he isn’t the tallest player.
What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?
The way you move by OutKast
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Nate Solder because we both move the same and have the same body type
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
People underestimating me coming out of high school because I was 6’7 only weighing 230. It was a struggle to get a school to notice me but once they did I had to overcome gaining weight which took a few years.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I just sit by myself and listen to music getting myself ready for the game
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?
When we played CSU Pueblo this past year and I was pulling to the right and ended up meeting a safety down the field and flat backed him.
What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?
I really enjoyed doing unified basketball and challenger baseball where you would go and help kids with special needs play sports.
Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?
The Atlanta Falcons
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
I would choose Vince Lombardi because of how great of a coach and leader he was. Ronald Regan because of what he did during the cold war and how great of a leader he was. The last would be my mom’s parents because they passed away before I could remember and I have a lot of questions I would ask them about our family.
