Eagles QB Carson Wentz has won Pepsi Rookie of the Week 3 out of 4 weeks
The Philadelphia Eagles have only played 4 games and so far Carson Wentz has won Pepsi’s NFL Rookie of the Week 3 of the four weeks.
The NFL announced today that Wentz was named Rookie of the Week for the third time after his 25 of 33, 238 yard, 2 TD, 1 INT performance that came in a loss in Detroit to the Lions last Sunday. The other nominees were Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott, Bears RB Jordan Howard, Chargers DE Joey Bosa, and Packers LB Kyle Fackrell.
Wentz is an amazing quarterback and the rookie is so poised in the pocket. I am shocked that Zeke or Bosa did not get it this week, because Wentz and the Eagles lost. It was an impressive performance but still a bit of a shocker.
