Jets have interest in former Chiefs linebacker Joe Mays
Adam Caplan reports that the New York Jets have interest in former Kansas City Chiefs starting linebacker Joe Mays. Mays was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He spent most of the 2008 season inactive, but played in the last two games of the season on special teams.
He was traded to the Denver Broncos in exchange for running back J.J. Arrington. Since then he has played for the Texans and the Chiefs. Last year he racked up 20 tackles for the Chiefs.
