Ohio State loses J.T. Barrett with a fractured ankle
Ohio State starting quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate J.T. Barrett suffered a fractured ankle during the fourth quarter of the Buckeyes’ 42-28 victory against rival Michigan on Saturday.
Barrett, who will have surgery Sunday, will miss the remainder of the season, the school announced.
“We lost a Heisman candidate today,” Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said after the game.
