Jerry Jones has tons of faith in his quarterback
Not only does wide receiver Dez Bryant think the offense can carry the Dallas Cowboys into the postseason, team owner/general manager Jerry Jones believes in one player in particular that can do it.
Jones said on 105.3 The Fan on Friday that quarterback Tony Romo can also carry this offense. It sounded like a vote of confidence.
“I do, and it’s almost within a play that it makes a difference,” Jones said. “When you feel like you can rely on stops, you know you’re going to have a stop. If you work your offense, if you need to save the play for a rainy day and kick the ball and then plan on stopping them and go again, when that becomes more of a question of than, of course, the importance of keeping the ball, keeping the drive going, making the play while you’ve got your time at bat, making the touchdown, all of that is accentuated.”
