Raiders claim DE Lavar Edwards off waivers; Place Chimdi Chekwa on IR
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders have claimed DE Lavar Edwards off of waivers from the Cowboys on Monday. 
In a corresponding move the team placed CB Chimdi Chekwa on the injured reserve.
Rand Getlin reports that the Raiders have placed CB Chimdi Chekwa on season-ending injured reserve Monday.
