Saints have released TE Alex Smith
Kristian Garic has reported that the New Orleans Saints have released tight end Alex Smith.
This is interesting considering the team just signed him last week.
With a very poor tight end crop remaining Smith may not have to wait for long to find a home.

Smith, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2005.
