Texans priority at Quarterback might be Brian Hoyer, not Ryan Mallett
The Houston Texans need a quarterback and we all know that, but the team could be focusing on Brian Hoyer rather than Ryan Mallett. According to Jeff Darlington of NFL Network, the Texans are targeting the former Browns gunslinger. Remember Bill O’Brien was with the Patriots when Hoyer was on the team. Hoyer is a better player right now than Mallett, but the team definitely could turn to Hoyer as option one to start.
