Who is the NFL player you compare yourself the most to? Why is that?
A NFL player that I used to compared myself to a lot is Jamal Dean, I like his physicality, size and how confident he is playing man cover and can always hurt you playing zone. I like how patient he is, how much he trust his technique, and always out there competing and wanting to guard the best at all time and how poise he is during the ups and downs of a game.
What aspects of playing in the NFL do you find to be intriguing?
The competition is something that sticks out to me, like you are going against the best every game and hearing how much they put time in learning every single receivers movement and being about to recognize route base off certain things they do and how the game of football can turn into a chess match.
In what ways have you improved since last season?
Since last season I have improved on my footwork and being more detail and overall confident in coverage. Being the best communicator back there and knowing what others got around me allows me to play faster and confident because when I don’t know I play slow and overthink. The most important thing to me is being the guy that your teammates can trust.
What is your favorite memory so far as a college football player?
I got two favorite memories from college, one was when I was at Jax State and we had played South Carolina when they had Spencer Rattler and I had one of my best game in my career at that time. My second was this year in the Backyard Brawl against Pitt and helping my team win that game will be something I will forever remember.
What is the most important thing you would like NFL scouts, coaches and general managers to know about you?
The most important thing I want NFL teams to know about me is that I’m a competitor who love the process, who always looking for ways to get better , coachable, who’s going to prepare the right way and take pride in my work ethic. I’m willing to play any role and do whatever is asked of me to help the team win. A very versatile player that played Corner, nickel and safety in college. I want to play Corner at the next level because I feel like that’s where I feel my best.
