Drake Maye and the New England Patriots are 4 – 2, two things that stand out
For the first time in quite a while most Patriot fans can say that the New England Patriots are heading back to their old ways. Winning. It has been a couple years since the New England Patriots looked this solid and well rounded as a team. Drake Maye has taken massive strides in his sophomore season, Josh McDaniels and new offensive addition(s) Mack Hollins, Will Campbell (Rookie), Stefon Diggs, and Tre’Veyon Henderson have helped shape this offense into a powerhouse. The recent play from Wide Receiver Kayshon Boutte has made a HUGE difference to this offense as well. There are many things that stand out, but two stand out the most among the many.
- Stefon Diggs veteran Leadership
Stefon Diggs has been absolutely phenomenal, many around the league thought the New England Patriots were crazy for giving a 31-year-old a big contract (3-year | $69 Mil), Diggs was coming off an ACL Injury and many wrote him off, he has proven a lot of people wrong, he looks incredible in the Patriots offense, when he is not getting the ball the leadership is off the charts, always picking up teammates and giving them pointers. Stefon Diggs has 32 receptions for 387 yards on the season so far, I could see him getting 1,000 yards before the season ends. Drake Maye has himself a very solid wide receiver in Stefon Diggs, I believe Diggs leadership is also making its way down to the wide receiver room for DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, Efton Chism (Rookie), Kyle Williams (Rookie), and Mack Hollins. Everyone is playing better on the offense and It looks like the most connected offensive group New England has had in YEARS!

- Patriots defense improvements
The Patriots defense is playing solid in key situations, holding star quarterbacks from putting up big numbers, playing aggressive, making plays when they are needed, and backing up the offense whenever they are needed. Mike Vrabel is the ultimate player coach, Milton Williams the biggest signing from the Patriots in free agency has played INCREDIBLE! 10 total tackles and 2.5 Sacks for Williams, Harold Landry 22 total tackles, 4.5 Sacks, and great leadership from Harold Landry, Christian Gonzalez has been locked down like usual, Carlton Davis has been playing solid majority of season but could improve, and lastly Marcus Jones masterclass of a season from the team caption.
The New England Patriots could win five of the next six if they play incredible football. All Gas. No Brakes for the Patriots.
