NIL NOT PAYING? Oklahoma State Star Football Player Arrested for Stealing from Walmart

Oklahoma State linebacker Wendell Gregory was arrested Saturday evening in Payne County on four counts of larceny of merchandise, according to county jail records.
Gregory, 19, was booked into Payne County Jail at 6:55 p.m. on Aug. 30 and released on bond the following day. The charges stem from allegations that he stole a total of $211 worth of merchandise from a Stillwater Walmart over the course of a week in May.
The redshirt freshman transferred to Oklahoma State from South Carolina and made an immediate impact in the Cowboys’ season opener last Thursday, recording three sacks in a win over UT-Martin.
Reagan Harris first reported Gregory’s arrest. Oklahoma State has not yet issued a public statement regarding the matter.
The Cowboys are scheduled to face Oregon next Saturday in Eugene.
