What makes you a top prospect in your position in the 2026 NFL Draft

What sets me apart as a top prospect for the 2026 NFL Draft is my ability to create separation and win contested catches. I may be undersized by NFL standards, but I prided myself on elite route running, ability to accelerate quickly, and using smart leverage to create space against any form of coverage. Strong hands and body control mean I can make tough catches while being tough enough to absorb hits. I make the tough catches that move chains, whether going across the middle, catching in a crowd, or going up high to catch a deep pass. Work ethic, football IQ, and an unyielding mindset mark the difference between me and the rest of them.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

An NFL team definitely needs to know that my work ethic is unparalleled, and I never give up under any circumstance, no matter how adverse. I’ve had my share of setbacks, doubts, and all kinds of challenges along the way, but I’ve always found a way to keep moving forward. I take no excuse but work hard when it counts and rise to a challenge at the right time. There is this attitude carried over into every single thing I do; from training to leadership and even in the way I live each day, not just on game day.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I were ever to give to one charity in the world, I would give to helping teachers obtain the resources to deliver instruction effectively. Teachers are among the most significant players in shaping our future, they feed the minds of the next generation. Way too often, they are underfunded and underappreciated. Supporting them, we are not only investing in classrooms but are also investing in the future of our communities and the world.

Who was your role model?

My role model is my father. From Day One, he has been a major pillar of support to me. The sacrifices he has made to work long hours, put aside his own ordeal, or just be there at times when I required him the most have allowed me to chase my dreams. His work ethics, humility, and constant belief in me keep inspiring me every single day. I wouldn’t have reached such a place without him.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

Rudy Criner is up there among the most underrated teammates in my school. The guy’s a game-changer. He can get on the field from anywhere almost instantly, exhibits superior ball reaction capabilities, and can really play from anywhere. Locks down on receivers, creates turnovers, makes big hits, Rudy does it all-breaking school records while he does so. He may not always be in the spotlight, but those who watch the film know just how special he is.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

The most horrible pet peeve one can literally catch is complacency and impatience. I don’t like it when people settle down or feel comfortable with something below average; there is always a place to grow and improve. And the part that gets me the most is to find those people who expect instant results through hard work and appreciating the process. It takes time, effort, and consistency to achieve greatness.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

Dr. Payne is my all-time favorite teacher. He made learning enjoyable and created unforgettable moments in our class. We shared some awesome field trips, which helped me reconnect with nature and the outdoors. One cool thing we did was to brainstorm different games as a class, and with every meeting, one student would lead the group in playing their game. This taught us in an abstract way about creativity, leadership, and teamwork. Dr. Payne created an environment in which learning felt alive.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

My toughest moment to deal with was that time of serious doubt: would I be able to accomplish my goals, given the stature and competition surrounding me? Under 6 feet and from a smaller school, many people viewed me as not a real prospect. It would have been easy to just give up or settle for less. Instead, I used that adversity to get stronger. I worked hard, focused harder, and proved to myself every day that I belong. It defined my character and proved to me what it truly means to never give up, no matter the odds.

What is your favorite snack food?

Few people consider tilapia and rice snack food. But they are wholesome, inexpensive, and possess the nourishment that my body requires. I use it to keep energized and ready to perform, on and off the field!

What is your degree in?

I graduated with an interdisciplinary degree that combined history, sports marketing, and education. It gave me a unique perspective on the business and cultural side of sports, as well as the importance of teaching and leadership. Right now, I’mcurrently working on my MBA to continue growing my knowledge and prepare for life after football.

What is your biggest weakness?

My greatest weakness was always trying to take on too much on my own. With a very high work ethic and a high standard for myself, I mostly assumed that I did not have to ask for help when doing things. Gradually, I have learned the value of teamwork: not just on the field but also outside of it. Having others lean on, better communication with people around me, and trusting them have made me a better teammate and a better leader.
