Three 2026 NFL Draft Prospects in a “Make or Break” Year
Miami QB Carson Beck: The former Georgia signal caller was expected to go very high in the 2025 NFL Draft. What exactly happened? Well, Beck does not have a high level of desired intangibles. He was very good at processing and timing his throws in his first year starting. He took a major step back this past season, becoming late with his throws, careless in the pocket and displaying an overall dip in his accuracy. 2025 can be his year. He has a new coaching staff, some new confidence and a final chance to display his talents and become a 1st round pick.
Kansas QB Jalon Daniels: The Kansas QB has been plagued by tough injuries for most of his collegiate career. Rather than declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft after a very disappointing season, Daniels cut an NIL deal to remain at Kansas and expend his last chance at becoming a collegiate champion. When healthy, Daniels is a dual-threat QB with an electric arm and solid accuracy. Unfortunately, a bad back has limited his rushing ability and completely thrown off his mechanics. I have finally stopped believing in Jalon as a true NFL prospect, but he has the tools and now has 1 final chance.
Ohio State CB Davison Igbinosun: The former 4-star Ole Miss corner has been a disappointing player for the Buckeyes. There was a lot of promise for the young man, standing over 6’1” and running in the low 4.3s, but he has not been able to put it together. He has allowed over 300 yards and above a 50% completion rate when targeted. His decision to return to OSU for his senior season was not unprecedented, but due to him starting all 3 years prior to 2025, he does not have a redshirt year in his pocket. If he puts it all together, Igbinosun can be one of the scarier DBs in the country, but this is his last chance to show the NFL what he is made of.
