Former Buffalo Bills head coach Dick Jauron is dead at 74

Dick Jauron, the former Buffalo Bills coach is dead. Jauron who led the Bears to a 13-3 record and was named AP Coach of the Year in 2001, died at 74.
Jauron’s daughter Kacy wrote on Facebook on Saturday that he died after being diagnosed with cancer this week.
“We are so incredibly devastated to share the news that my dad has passed away, The past week has been one awful nightmare after another… The pain that I and everyone else who loved him is feeling right now is completely immeasurable.
The Bills named him their head coach in 2006, and Jauron was 24-33 in 3 1/2 seasons.
Jauron also played in the league after the Lions made him a fourth-round pick in 1973 out of Yale. A safety, he played five seasons in Detroit and three in Cincinnati. He appeared in 100 games with 80 starts and made the Pro Bowl in 1974.
