What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
I’ve been playing DB, specifically cornerback, since my sophomore year of high school, I’ve moved around and played some safety over the years but I have only and always been a defensive player my whole career, which gives me an edge in knowledge and experience out on my island. Always building on a solid foundation that’s based on doing your 1/11th and mastering the fundamentals concepts of being a Defensive Back. (leverage, alignment, understanding route concepts)
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I’ve been working in the dark for a long time,a lot of unnoticed and unseen hours have been put into this process. I believe it gave me a mindset and mentality that many high-level prospects, either have or don’t. As an adult it’s hard to develop, but It’s embedded in me. As a testament to the time it took to get to this point. Being an under-recruited midwest Kansas City kid.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to the inner city and just provide a better education system. Letting kids just like me develop a level of confidence to truly chase their dreams like I am in this interview.
Who was your role model?
This is tough, I draw influence from many different people. Some deceased, some alive, some even fictional characters. I give one of each, I’ll start with Bruce Lee, and his dedication to the process. Then I gotta say Deion Sanders, just being the person he is.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
Chiefs Kingdom, I’m a Kansas City native
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Ill say Wesley Coleman , a big 300-pound DT at Harding. Check him out!
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Lying. I’m not weak, I can handle, and I believe I need it to grow.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Mr. Shelp in High School, best ACT prepper ever.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Easily when I was academically removed from my first school as a freshman after burning a year of eligibility. At 19 I had to make a decision, and every choice I made from that point on would impact the execution of my plan. I paid out of pocket to attend local Community colleges as a student so I could become eligible for financial aid, so I could even afford to go back and play. After that I reached Sierra college in California, took a greyshirt year to get accustomed to the program, after dominating the competition, I graduated and transferred to Harding University and won the National Championship. That whole phase of my life took intense focus.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Taco Naco- KC go check it out
What is your favorite snack food?
I love a Oatmeal CreamPie Cookie
What is your degree in?
Social and Behavioral communications, I’m also a certified Yoga instructor, and certified in yoga philosophy
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
JFK, because I gotta know about the aliens, Tom Brady. I just want to pick his mind as a competitor, Deion Sanders because I know he could give me some insight that would help me become a better DB and human overall.
What is your biggest weakness?
Being from a smaller city, having to go out and learn things on my own the hard way. I would consider a weakness completely. But it makes the process of success longer than others because I typically have to go through many trials to find the answers I’m looking for. In short I would say my biggest weakness is not being a 2nd Generation athlete, I had to get this all on my own from the bottom.
