What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
As a top prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, I bring a unique and versatile skill set that sets me apart. At safety, I’ve consistently led my team in tackles and interceptions, showcasing my ability to read the game, make impactful stops, and create turnovers. Transitioning to cornerback, I’ve allowed zero catches when in man coverage over the past four years, demonstrating my lockdown ability and tight coverage skills. On special teams, I’m also making plays, whether it’s on kickoffs or punts, showing my all-around value and willingness to contribute wherever needed. My combination of playmaking, versatility, and consistency makes me a dynamic asset for any NFL team.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
One thing NFL teams should know about me is that I truly understand what it takes to make it to the league. Growing up around my brother, who plays in the NBA, I’ve been exposed to the mindset, work ethic, and dedication required to succeed at the highest level. On top of that, I train alongside current NFL players at a top workout facility, where I get invaluable advice and insights that help me elevate my game. I’ve learned firsthand from these professionals about the level of commitment, preparation, and discipline needed to make it—and I’m fully prepared to bring that same intensity and focus to the NFL.
Who was your role model?
Tyrann Mathieu
Who is your favorite NFL team?
Atlanta Falcons
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
The most underrated teammate at my school is definitely Jaden Hale. Despite leading the team in receiving touchdowns and having a standout game with three touchdowns, he didn’t receive the recognition he deserved this season. Jaden’s ability to make big plays and consistently perform at a high level went underappreciated, but he’s a crucial part of our offense and has the talent to make an impact at the next level. He’s one of those players who just gets the job done, and honestly, he should’ve received more accolades for his contributions.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is seeing politics and big-name schools get picked over actual talent. I’ve experienced it firsthand, being snubbed for bowl game invites despite my performance on the field. It’s frustrating to see lesser-known players and programs overlooked simply because of reputation, while those of us who put in the work and produce results are left out. Talent should always be the top priority, but unfortunately, that’s not always the case.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My high school basketball coach was my math teacher as well. I’ve learned a lot from him.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest moment in my life to overcome is seeing my mom wake up every single day, no matter how tough things get, just to go to work and make sure her kids are fed. She never complains, no matter the struggles she faces. Watching her perseverance has been a constant reminder for me to push harder, work smarter, and give everything I’ve got. Her strength in the face of adversity fuels my own drive to keep going, no matter what challenges I face. She’s the reason I never stop striving for more.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
