What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
Football is something I’ve been playing as long as I can remember; I don’t think there’s been a time where I didn’t want to be a football player.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
There’s been a few pretty sweet comebacks that I’ve been a part of both in high school and college, and those are always the best. In my head coach’s first game last year, we were able to drive down the field and win on a last-second field goal in front of the home crowd, which was a pretty special moment.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I want to keep playing and pursuing football as long as possible. I’m incredibly lucky to have some of those opportunities, and I want to make sure I capitalize on them.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
I think I would choose Joe Montana. He was one of the best to ever do it, knew how to win and he helped change the game of football with the West Coast offense.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My parents. They set a terrific example for me and always pushed me to be the best version of myself.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
An LA Rams-style West Coast offense. It is similar to what I ran in college; you can be really creative with formations and motions, you have to play with anticipation and great understanding, and you can also build in easy answers on some plays.
What should we know about Harry Roubidoux the person?
I’m going to be reliable. You can rely on me as a player, a teammate, and as a friend, and all that those things require.
What stands out about your film the most?
My ability to run a pro-style offense and manage the game well. I play with a lot of anticipation on throws and work to make the correct decision situationally every time.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I think the best way to handle challenges is to just attack them. And if I don’t know how, I’ll find someone who does.
What would a team get in a player like you?
They would get someone who works to win mentally, not just physically. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
The brotherhood. There is nothing as special as the family you create with your team.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
One of my wide receivers, Isaac Garside. He is one of the best in the country and works his butt off. He makes a play every time the ball touches his hands.
