Today, we’re spotlighting the standout athletes who rose above the competition, making a significant impact in their games and catching the attention of fans and scouts alike. Get ready as we unveil the top FBS performers who dominated in Week 1 and set the stage for their teams’ early success.
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado – Shedeur Sanders made his case to be the top quarterback in the NFL Draft. Sanders stood in the pocket and delivered pass after pass to his targets. The Buffaloes had a close one against NDSU, but Sanders was not the problem. He threw for 435 yards and dominated the Bison defense.
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State – One of the best performances of the year and we are in week 1. Jeanty finished the game with 267 yards rushing and six rushing touchdowns. Jeanty was banged up in the fourth quarter, but outperformed everyone on the field to get the Broncos a big win.
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona – A 6’5 beast who tore up the secondary all game. TMac finished with 304 receiving yards. He is so big and quick, and defenders did not have an answer for him. McMillan will have NFL teams pumped to draft him. He is big, fast, and can light up corners.
Jackson Woodard, LB, UNLV – Was possessed on the field yesterday. UNLV dominated Houston the entire game, and Jackson Woodard was a force on the football field. He racked up 3 sacks and was a menace for the Cougars offensive line.
Caden Davis, K, Ole Miss – The Ole Miss kicker was 10/10 on extra points, and hit 2 of three field goals. He missed a 50 plus yarder, but he has a huge leg. I love this kids game, he is one of my favorite kickers in the 2025 NFL Draft class.
