What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft

I believe that first and foremost, I am a man of faith so I feel that I am a great guy when it comes to the locker room, to minister, encourage, lift, encourage, and be there for my teammates when they need me. When it comes to the field, I believe that I am a player who faces adversity well, I’m not afraid and don’t back down when things get tough or don’t go the way I planned at first. I was a state champion wrestler in high school, so I faced a lot of adversity during those years of my life. I believe that wrestling for 7 years, it had a lot to do with the athlete that I am today when it comes to work ethic, determination, mental toughness, and doing different, extra work to get myself in the best shape possible. Overall, I feel that I am a coach player and am willing to do whatever is needed from my coaches and my team.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

My faith is the most important thing in my life. My relationship with God is how I got to where I am today and is why I have gotten the opportunities that I have. Through God, I have trusted him every step of the way, even when things got tough and didn’t go the way I wanted at the time, he always comes through in the end on his timing for me. Like I talked a little bit about in the question above, I wrestled in high school and won state my senior year at heavyweight. During those wrestling years, I had to trust in God with the abilities that he has given me because of how tough that sport is and how you can feel like you are on the mountain tops right to feeling like you are in the deepest valley. God and wrestling shaped me into the football player I am today and the football player I am going to continue to grow into

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

If I had to donate and give to one cause in the world, it would be Destiny Rescue. Destiny Rescue is a Christian organization that exists to help rescue kids from sex exploitation and help them stay free from it. They do all this while spreading the love of Jesus. When I give to my church, I know I am giving to Destiny Rescue as well because our church gives to them.

Who was your role model?

If I had to pick a role model for me I would have to pick my dad. Not just when it comes to sports because he has shown me a lot mentally when it comes to athletics. He has helped drill into my mind determination, work ethic, respect for all and fear none, and many more things. The biggest reason why I chose my dad as my role model is because of his character. Not just as a father but as a friend to other people as well, he has a heart for people, he always puts other people’s needs before his. He will work his butt off every day just so that his family can do the things we can do and provide for us. He is humble and carries himself with humility, there are so many more things that I can say, I just wouldn’t have time to go into it. The most important thing I see as a role model from my dad is how he always trusts in God and keeps him at the center of his life and my parent’s marriage every day of his life even when things get tough.

Who is your favorite NFL team?

I wouldn’t say I have a die hard favorite team, I mean we like to see the Colts do well because we live in Indiana, but obviously everyone can see how the Colts have done the last couple of years. I really just like to watch all kinds of different teams because of the players that are on the team. I mostly like watching certain teams because of their offensive line, I love to just watch and learn things that they do during games and implement that into my game play.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

I would have to choose Bohde Dickerson, he is a sophomore this year, and he is tall, built, well, and very athletic. We know the potential that he has because of what he can do right now as a young guy, I say he is an underrated guy because the coaches are kind of trying to figure out a spot for him, they recently moved him to receiver where we think he will shine.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

I’d say that I have a couple of pet peeves that could sound pretty weird, I don’t know why they bother me so much but they do. One of the bigger ones is that I hate when people try to tear something open with their teeth or rip something off with their teeth. I’d say that the biggest one not that I think about it would be people driving slowly in the fast lane, which will test my faith.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

My favorite teacher would be a professor I have at Saint Francis, her name is Heather Jeffries. She is head of the criminology program at the university. She is my favorite teacher because she makes class enjoyable by not just lecturing every day, she finds different ways to teach us, from different videos or projects. She is also very kind and caring, she cares for her students and makes an effort to have a real relationship with them.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

I would say one of, if not, the hardest moment of my life was during high school wrestling. Although there was a lot of physical hard work that I put into it that made it so hard because it did take a lot of hard work, I feel the reason it was so hard to overcome was the mental aspect of it. Long story short it started my sophomore year in high school, I made it to the ticket round of semi-state to qualify for the state tournament and ended up losing in overtime. I ended up pushing myself as hard as I could from that moment on until the following year, semi-state where I ended up qualifying for state and placed 5th my first time going to state. This all led to my senior year, I was ranked number one in the country going into the season. I feel that the situation comes with some pressure to stay the number one ranking for the season and technically win state because that’s what they’re ranking meant, however, I ended up losing one match to the kid who was ranked number two at a tournament right before sectionals. I ended up wrestling him in the semi-state finals and beating him, this led me to state the following week. This was still when COVID was going on, but it was towards the end of it, at state, they had certain things that we had to do that were not normal like the year before, I had a specific routine that I did before every match that was messed up the whole tournament, but I ended up overcoming that mentally and winning my state finals match becoming a state champion.

If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?

Man that is a tough one as an offensive lineman, I would have to go with Culver’s. They have the best chicken sandwich and butter burgers. Not to mention their cheese curds and conceit mixers. Culver’s is a great pick.

What is your favorite snack food?

The things I consider snacks are usually small meals for people, but if we are talking small snacks, I would have to go with puppy chow. I don’t eat it a lot because it is horrible for you, but whenever my dad makes it usually during Christmas, it’s not good because I eat a ton of that stuff. Similar to the Muddy Buddies, those are my go-to at the gas station on a trip.

What is your degree in?

My degree is in Criminal Justice at Saint Francis. I chose it mostly because of how interesting the field is, also, there are so many pathways you could go for a career.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Three people I would like to have dinner with are in the football industry and have impacted the game of football. I would like to sit down with Tim Tebow, Peyton Manning, and Jason Kelce. I choose Tim Tebow because he is a big man of faith and impacted the game of football a ton speaking about his faith, I would want to talk to him about how I can use my faith to impact the players and coaches on my team. I also chose Peyton Manning because he is also a man of faith but he is also very smart and one of the best quarterbacks that has played, so we could talk about the game, schematically, things like that. Finally, I would choose Jason Kelce because he is hilarious, but he is also one of the greatest centers that have played football, so I would want to talk to him about gameplay as an offensive lineman and what it takes to be a great one at this level.

What is your biggest weakness?

I believe that my biggest weakness is not just as a football player but as a person in general, when I am doing something that I care about, I try, and do it with perfection and make everything perfect all the time. That is a great thing to strive for but is very unrealistic. An example would be when I am doing some offensive line work, I try and do all my techniques perfectly, sometimes trying to keep doing it perfectly can make me get in my head when I don’t do it so perfectly and affect my play. I have to remind myself that it is ok to strive for perfection but also know that there is no perfect rep and just play as hard as I can every play.
