Chiefs star WR Rashee Rice was in fact driving the Lamborghini that injured 4 people in Texas, then fled the scene

Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver issued an apology last night for racing vehicles in Texas that ended up causing four people to get injured.

Today, his attorney Royce West, said during a press conference that the star wide out was in fact driving the Lamborghini that was rented by Rice when it crashed over the weekend.

Rice reportedly answered every question from the Dallas Police and admitted to driving the car.

“Mr. Rice acknowledged that he was driving the Lamborghini, that was the question that was asked,” West said. “He responded to that. That he was driving the Lamborghini.”

Rice was in fact driving the car, and now he could lose both his vehicles. According to a law passed back in 2023 authorities can seize and sell vehicles involved in street racing.

Rice owned the corvette racing and was leasing the Lamborghini. If Rice is in fact convicted he could spend 5 years in prison.
