After the NFL Draft, teams began working phone lines trying to sign as many stars as possible, but there are 31 others competing to take the top prospects remaining.

Every year undrafted players are signed and end up making a team. The NFL is made up of undrafted free agents. The numbers are not necessarily in your favor, but it is not impossible either. Let’s look at five players I feel can make the 53-man roster after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Mark Perry, S, TCU – The Miami Dolphins signed Mark Perry after the 2024 NFL Draft and I am absolutely shocked he was not selected. Perry is a big-time playmaker who is super athletic. The Dolphins will not be able to rely on Jordan Poyer forever and I think Perry can come in and be an immediate impact player for the Phins.

Jontrey Hunter, LB, Georgia State – The New England Patriots signed my favorite draft prospect. I am shocked he went undrafted. Hunter is a super athletic prospect from Florida, who was a high jumper and former quarterback. He went to school as a safety and then transitioned to a linebacker. He is a super athletic kid and I think Jerod Mayor will fall in love with him.

Dallin Holker, TE, Colorado State – The Saints quickly landed Holker after the draft, and this move makes a ton of sense. The Saints need a tight end and he can come in right away and contribute. If you think I am crazy go pull up the Colorado State game against Deion Sanders and Colorado. After that game you too will come away as a believer.

Sam Hartman, QB, Notre Dame – The Commanders drafted Jayden Daniels and then signed Sam Am I Hartman as a UDFA, and I think it was genius. Hartman is a winner and a hard worker. He will make the Commanders roster and I would not be shocked if he becomes the #2 over time. I think he is better than Mariota, so this was a great signing.

Ryan Rehkow, P, BYU – Andy Reid lands a BYU punter and probably the best overall punter in this draft. Rehkow will compete with Punt God Matt Araiza for the starting punter position. Andy Reid knows the punter well, and he has a huge leg. The Chiefs might have the two best young punters in the entire draft on their team right now.
