Tennessee State football player saved his girlfriend’s life before getting killed by hit-and-run driver
Tennessee State football player Chazan Page was killed in a devastating hit-and-run accident earlier this week, but he will forever be remembered as a hero.
Chazan Page’s girlfriend Jayda Jernigan said he pushed her out of the way of the speeding car, to save her life, while sacrificing his.
“He pushed me out of the way,” Jayda Jernigan said. “And he got the brunt of it all.”
Page had just six classes left at TSU before he would have graduated.
