Florida HS football star among four people killed after crashing stolen SUV in high-speed chase

According to reports, a Florida High School football player and three of his high school friends were killed after crashing a stolen SUV in a high-speed chase.
The four Florida teens were killed in a high-speed police chase after their car spun violently out of control, flipped over and wrapped around a utility pole.
The deadly pursuit began as officers chased after the Honda CRV, which was reported stolen, was speeding away from cops at 111mph.
The young football star involved was Newberry High School’s Lawrence McClendon Jr. (18).
Newberry’s head football coach Ed Johnson said this about McClendon.
“Lawrence was a great kid to be around and have in our program, as a football player he was competitive, talented, and relentless with a knack for making big plays. Everyone in the Panther football family will truly miss him.”
Please keep his family in your prayers.
