What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I would say watching my older brother play and him being a role model and then once I got to playing the love for the game came easily.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Really the times just chilling and goofing off with the guys in the locker room.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I wanna just be the best version of myself that I can be, continue to improve on my weaknesses and be the best player that I can possibly be.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Patrick Mahomes, I would want to just pick his brain and learn some of the things he had to go through to get where he is at.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I would say my daughter inspires me the most ever since she was born there was a new type spark lit under me and just another reason on my list of why I go hard at the sport of football.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

My favorite offensive scheme would have to be Tennessee’s offensive scheme they have been running the past couple of years, the way they use tempo to keep defenses off balance.

What should we know about Darren Grainger the person?

I’m really a laid back person but once I get comfortable around people I’m a goofy guy who will always have a smile on my face.

What stands out about your film the most?

My ability as a dual threat quarterback should stand out from my film.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges with a determination and a smile on my face whatever challenges come my way on the field or in life I know that I’m built to handle anything that comes my way.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A guy that will do anything for the team, a leader, and a great locker room guy.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The overall team aspect of the sport, the brotherhood of the game and how the bonds you build with teammates can last forever.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I played with would probably be Jacyais Credle because he dealt with some injuries but when he is at full health he is a NFL receiver no doubt in my mind.
