Second Arena Football player this week called up by NFL team | Cade Brewer secures workout with 49ers

Cade Brewer a former star tight end at the University of Texas has landed a mini-camp tryout with the San Francisco 49ers.
The former Hula Bowl Alumni tight end was playing football for the Nashville Kats before getting called up.
Brewer’s journey from the University of Texas to the NFL was marked by significant impact and a rich history of football excellence.
At Texas, he played in 55 games with 33 starts and stood out among UT tight ends with 59 career receptions, 611 receiving yards, and eight touchdowns, earning All-Big 12 honorable mention honors in both 2020 and 2021.
Brewer signed with the Seattle Seahawks after going undrafted last year. After being cut, Brewer latched on with the Nashville Kats of the AFL.
In his AFL season opener against the Minnesota Myth, Brewer contributed three receptions for 58 yards, helping the Kats secure a 47–12 win by gaining crucial field position for scores.
The crazy thing is this is the second Arena Football player to be called up this week to the NFL. Earlier this week Desmond Bland was called up to the New Orleans Saints.
