Five NFL players that could be traded during the 2024 NFL Draft
The NFL Draft is upon us, and I am fired up right now! While everyone is focused on the NFL Draft, could there be a few players on the way out of their respected teams?
I know the hot name right now is Brandon Aiyuk, who I truly feel could be dealt during the draft. He is looking for a big pay day, but could a team be willing to give up a high pick for the back-to-back 1000 yard receiver?
Let’s take a look at five players we could see dealt during the draft.
- Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers – I could see the 49ers dealing him. There is a ton of smoke, and yesterday we seen several players getting extensions around the league. One of those players who did not get an extension was the 26-year-old wide out from SF. Could a team like Jacksonville who have former brass from San Francisco take a swing on the wide out? We will see!
- Alec Pierce, WR, Indianapolis Colts – There are tons of rumors that the Colts are in love with speedy Xavier Worthy. If that is the case, where does Alec Pierce fit in? Pierce is a player that I would love on the Buffalo Bills. The Colts likely have a corner high on their draft board, but if both the corners are gone, could they end up going wide out? If so Alec Pierce to Buffalo makes a ton of sense.
- Trey Hendrickson, EDGE, Cincinnati Bengals – The Orlando native is wanting a new deal, I wonder if a team like the Lions would be willing to swing a trade on him. The Lions would be nasty if they had Aidan Hutchinson and Trey Hendrickson. I know Hendrickson wants a new contract, but could he be dealt?
- Tee Higgins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals -The Bengals star wide out requested a trade, but he wants a new contract. This is the deepest wide receiver class in the past ten years. There are multiple teams that need a wide out, but are they willing to take a veteran that will cost over a cheaper rookie option?
- Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos – Another wide receiver? Yep, it seems like veteran wide outs are the ones that could be seeing a push out the window. Well Sutton has been named by numerous outlets, could he end up being traded on draft day? We will see!
