What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I remember in junior high watching the Seahawks and Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor and the whole legion of boom hitting people and I wanted to be like that.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

In 2021 beating Montreal in the Uteck Bowl and the crowd was amazing and the stakes were high and it was beautiful playing in that stadium.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

First dream is to win a Grey Cup and play for a team that wants and needs me and make an impact.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

James Harrison and Lane Johnson, I feel like I could learn a lot from people like that.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

Both my parents, they’ve been very passionate and supported me in each facet of my life.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I really enjoy playing in a 3-4 where linebackers are able to blitz off the ends and it’s very exciting and fun to watch.

What should we know about George Idoko the person?

I’m here to win and I love to compete and hit people on the football field and I can’t wait to go to the combine and perform and put all the talk to rest.

What stands out about your film the most?

I’m a very disciplined person, I can play defensive end or linebacker and I can adapt to teams structure’s and positions very well.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Definitely know how to handle challenges when Covid happened I went back to Calgary and it was hard to work out but I did what I could and I got through it to where I am now and I also was a walk on and had to earn my scholarship through work.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A hybrid player who can play multiple positions, who is a dog and they’d be getting all of me.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love how honest it is and all the smoke and mirrors go away once the whistle blows and you just have to compete and at the end of the day it’s about what happens on the field and it’s a beautiful sport.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Connor Delahey, he was a defensive end and linebacker at the University of Saskatchewan and he makes big hits and doesn’t say much but is glue to the team and is an unspoken dog.
