Darrelle Revis says Tom Brady bawled after being accused of Deflategate, and claimed his innocence
Over the years, I have come to feel bad for Tom Brady, even though he crushed my Buffalo Bills for 20 years straight.
In the latest episode of “The Dynasty: New England Patriots” documentary on Apple TV, Darrelle Revis who played with the Patriots for one season, said that Tom Brady was truly distraught after being accused of Deflategate.
“When Deflategate happened and Tom was the headliner of the whole situation, he addressed us as a team,” Revis said “You could tell he was distraught.”
“He was actually bawling his eyes out in front of us.”
Brady was suspended for four games the following season, and the Patriots were fined $1 million and forfeited two draft picks in the 2016 NFL Draft. The scandal blew up during the lead-up to Super Bowl XLIX, and it took a toll on the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
