California safety Raymond Woodie III is joining his father at Bethune-Cookman
Bethune Cookman has landed a very amazing safety prospect in Raymond Woodie III. The name is very familiar, because his father is the head coach at B-CU.
The younger Woodie began his college career at Florida State University, where he played two seasons. He recorded 34 total tackles, four tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in 19 games with the Seminoles in a stacked secondary.
The four-star safety then transferred to the University of California at Berkley, where he played three seasons.
Woodie is now transferring to play for his father at Bethune-Cookman and will become an immediate impact player. Bethune has landed several solid players this year to include ASU standout Shawn Russ Jr. and Central Florida’s three-star prospect Dallaz Corbitt.
