What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft?
What makes me a top prospect at my position is my ability to retain information and learn multiple schemes quickly, my closing speed, and ability to not only fit the run but aggressively and very consistently finish plays. My ball skills not only get turnovers but my ability to make something happen with the ball in my hands. Being able to play Either safety spot come down in run fits or coverage while also being a good player in the post as well. And an excellent blitzer as well.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
I was interested in football from the earliest memories I have I’ve always wanted to be a football player.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
One thing that NFL teams should know about me is that I come from a football background and every time you see me I’m always improving my craft.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
If I could donate to one cause it would be towards children with Epilepsy.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
The best advice that I have received at an early is that no one cares who you are only about if you are producing results and the only way to get those results is by putting in the work.
Who was your childhood hero?
My childhood Hero was Kobe Bryant
Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?
Cam Sydney
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people say they will do something and don’t follow through.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Some of the hardest moments in my life honestly came in college from going to two top schools in Florida State and Cal and not being the superstar player going from playing a lot to not playing and being able to mentally push myself and continue to have the confidence in my self to persevere and keep going. I believe at this point there isn’t anything that will phase me I know I’m ready for any challenge that will come my way and all of the work I have been putting in all of my life feels like i am finally starting to see the major benefits of this.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
Something about my school that is special is that they produce a lot of Good defensive backs and we play in an NFL scheme also it is the number one public university.
What is your favorite snack food?
Apples dipped in Caramel
What is the best part of football?
The best part of football is the grind that people don’t see the long hours and countless reps that make you better and then you go out and perform and make plays and get the gratitude to know that the hard work you put in paid off.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
A mature product player on and off the field that will do anything it takes to be the best.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
Jordan Whitehead with Tampa Bay during the championship year
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
- Kobe Bryant- Just to first hand speak to him about his habits and competitiveness and dominance “Mamba Mentality”
- Lebron James- Too talk about how he not only lived up to his expectations but surpassed them while also have great longevity and probably dominating the game for as long as he has.
- Peyton Manning- Just to talk about his habits not only on the field but off the field. Hear him talk about how he was in the film room and how quickly he was able to dissect the game and always be one step ahead of the defense.
