Week 9 Small School Top Performers | Presented by Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl

The Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl will be played in Orlando, Florida on January 13th, 2024 and is televised on CBS Sports. The scouts of NFL Draft Diamonds have worked for the past three years as the scouting staff for the Hula Bowl. We are excited to get the 2023-24 season underway, and had scouts in attendance to 9 games this week. With tons of great football games in the NCAA this week, we wanted to break down several of the Top Performers in the Small Schoolers that would have eligibility to play in our game. Let’s break down some of the best performances from week 9.
Cam Grandy, TE, Illinois State – The senior tight end had a huge weekend hauling in 11 receptions for 122 yards and one touchdown. Grandy looked like an NFL tight end this past weekend.
M.J. Wright, WR, Fordham – The standout pass catcher kept Fordham in the game but ended up falling short 49-47. Wright finished the game with 7 receptions for 164 yards and 1 touchdown. He had a huge day for the Rams.
Rayjoun Pringle, WR, Villanova – Pringle had a great game against Stony Brook this week hauling in 5 receptions for 196 yards and one touchdown. Villanova got the big win over Seawolves.
Jarveon Howard, RB, Alcorn State – Howard is a big back that makes you pay for coming into the hole. Howard finished with 13 powerful runs gaining 97 yards and scoring once. He has a little Derrick Henry to him, he is a beast.
Sundiata Anderson, DE, Grambling State – The fierce pass rusher for Hue Jackson finished with 12 tackles including 3.5 tackles for loss a sack and a half and two forced fumbles. Anderson had a week to remember.
