Former NFL QB Robert Griffin III wants to play for Cleveland Browns after Deshaun Watson Injury

Written by Karver Jordan
Robert Griffin III hasn’t been on the field in a few years however, you’ve probably seen the former star QB on the sideline reporting College/NFL Football games. Robert Griffin the third has started up his own podcast called “RG3 And The Ones” life has been pretty successful for the former star QB. Griffin believes he still has some in the tank, Should the Browns run it back with RG3?
Robert Griffin III has been in multiple different types of systems throughout his NFL days, going from Washington to Cleveland then to Baltimore. The Browns should give RG3 one more opportunity, at the very least give the QB a chance to be the backup. Griffin would say in his podcast he is open to mentoring Rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Karver’s Final Thoughts:
With Cleveland starting Dorian Thompson-Robinson due to Watson being out for the season it wouldn’t be a terrible idea to bring back the veteran QB. I am all for the Browns signing RG3, it would be some great news headlines and would be fun to watch.
