Peyton Manning’s nephew Arch Manning will not touch NIL money until he is starting for Longhorns
Peyton Manning was one of the most electric quarterbacks in NFL history and when you add in the fact that his brother and father both played at a high level, now the nephew of Peyton Arch is committed to Texas and seems to be a pretty popular gunslinger.
As a matter of fact, he has an NIL valuation of 2.8 million dollars according to On3, but he will not touch any NIL money until he gets a starting role with Texas.
Coach Sarkisian told the Athletic about Manning’s unwillingness to go after the money till he gets the starting role, something he inherited from his relatives.
“He’s taken zero money from an NIL perspective.”
“His grandpa (former NFL quarterback Archie Manning) won’t let him take any NIL money,” Sarkisian went on. “He said, ‘You can take money when you become a player and you start.’ ”
This is really smart by Arch. I think many will think he has the name and has had money his entire life, so he has not earned anything. So basically, earn it first, before you start taking all this money. I like it, imagine if all kids were getting this advice.
