Trouble Already with Antonio Brown as the owner of the Albany Empire?
Antonio Brown being the owner of a football team sounds fun, but it has been all but that since he took over the reigns of the Albany Empire.
According to reports, Browns tenure as the owner is off to a rugged start. Brown is reportedly running the organization into the ground.
There have been rumors floating around the internet, that players are not getting paid, the players were locked out of their team hotel, and Brown reportedly made violent threats towards the head coach.
Coach Damon Ware told TMZ, AB would send him texts that were violent threats. Ware claimed Brown’s ego was getting in the way.
“It became all about him, not the football team,” Ware said. “We built a wonderful organization over three years — he came in and killed it.”
The Albany Empire were back-to-back champs but are 1-2 in their first three games under Brown’s ownership.
A list of players and one coach were kicked out of their hotel rooms and had to get with housekeeping to get their stuff. The players on that list were Sam Castronova the teams starting QB, and Dwayne Hollis the teams star wide receiver. It is pretty wild what is happening. I wonder if Antonio Brown can fix the problems, but it sounds like he is wearing his emotions on his sleeve.
