Player Summary:
RSJR. Average height and below-average weight with a slender yet sturdy frame. Unknown arm and hand measurements but look sufficient on film. Poor 40 time backed up by the long speed he displays. He displays good balance, good competitiveness, and toughness. He shows average athletic ability. Crucially he shows average speed, strength, twitch, and instincts. His explosion displayed on film is subpar and he is not quick off the line. Not the most sudden player. With that being said, he shows average burst, quickness, and elusiveness. He shows subpar long speed and does get chased down on longer, open field runs. In the run, he is sufficient. His best trait in the run game is breaking tackles. His great contact balance allows him to rack up yards after first contact. Linebackers will bounce off his slender frame if they are not mindful. Running it inside the tackles proves to be quite a task for him. He displays an average ability to do so. He is held back by speed and explosiveness to hit the holes between the tackles. He can rip off some nice runs inside with his contact balance. On outside runs, he displays average ability. His speed again makes it tough for him to destroy pursuit angles of outside defenders. He shows average running vision as he can struggle to select the right hole and bounce the run the wrong way. In the passing game, he has some good abilities that makes him a potential asset on third downs. His pass protection and blitz pickup are good. He is a stout pass protector, and he is not afraid to throw a block. He effectively chips rushing linebackers bursting through the gaps. His hands are a good asset in the pass as well. He rarely drops the ball. His route running and separation ability is subpar. His route tree is very small and limited to primarily out and swing routes. His separation ability is held by his speed and agility. His separation he typically found is the result of scheme and finding the soft spots in the zone.
Scheme Fit:
3rd down RB.
Power Statement:
He is a solid RB with good pass protection. An offensive asset on 3rd downs
