What sets you apart from other defensive backs?

I would say my arm length sets me apart. Being able to get hands on receivers and even make plays on the ball that some corners aren’t able to make because of the arm length makes the game a lot easier for me.

What is your favorite coverage and why?

Press man is my favorite coverage. I love the competition of being 1on1 with a receiver because it’s flat out the better man wins. Also gives me that opportunity to get physical at the release which I love to do with my length.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Some of my favorite moments came from my early football life. My first year of playing football in the 3rd grade, I was able to score my first touchdown ever and was able to snatch my first interception ever within the same season, made me really fall in love with the sport that year.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

For me, any football player would be Jalen Ramsey. He’s my favorite player and I model my game after his. So just being able to get any advice he has for me and being around an all time great already in my eyes is second to none.

What should we know about Khoreice Crawford the person?

I take my intimate relationship with God seriously. I’m hard working and respectful. I show my leadership through my actions more so than my words and I’m always that person anybody can come to whenever they need anything.

What are your favorite things about playing football for UIndy?

Since my time being here, my favorite thing about UIndy is how everyone buys into putting the work in no matter the circumstances. Some guys going to work for 8 and 9 hour shifts and still able to get off and come to summer conditioning, it says a lot about the program and where the mindsets are within this team.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My uncle Jason. Growing up he used to always watch the Baltimore Ravens on tv and talked football so much around me that he pretty much planted that seed in me to becoming one. Also hearing the stories about how good he was in high school made me want to chase that dream for myself.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Most underrated player I’ve played with would have to be Kaleb Jefferson, current running back for Siena Heights University. He’s one of those players who has a lot of skill and a handful of highlight type plays but doesn’t get the recognition for it. Definitely one of the top RB’s in the NAIA in my opinion.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges by just having faith that the Lord will solve them for me. Depending on the circumstances, I do whatever part I need to do in life or the football field and I let God handle the rest.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would be getting someone who is willing to learn and is able to be coachable. They will also be getting someone who doesn’t run from competition but embraces it.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m mainly looking forward to being able to take the field with a new group of faces and chasing a championship ring with these guys.

What are you looking to improve the most this upcoming season?

I’m personally looking to improve on causing more turnovers. I want to be that guy that just somehow ends up with the ball in his hands constantly.
