Former NFL running back shot and killed in Rhode Island | A former small school Diamond in the Rough

Keshaudas Spence was a Diamond in the Rough. The former Sacred Heart running back dominated the FCS level. He is no longer with us after being shot and killed in Rhode Island.
The big back from Roxbury, Massachuetts is the all time rusher for Sacred Heart with 3,745 yards and was a Second Team All-American as a junior in 2013 after setting a single-season school record with 1,669 rushing yards.
Spence suited up for the Green Bay Packers, Washington Redskins and Jacksonville Jaguars during mini camps. He did not make the team.
According to police reports, Pawtucket police found 29-year-old Keshaudas Spence, of Brockton, suffering from a gunshot wound in a car that was parked on the George Bennett Industrial Highway at about 4:45 a.m. Saturday.
Spence, who was a passenger in the car, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Spence also spent time with the Iowa Barnstormers and the Green Bay Blizzard of the IFL. Please keep the family in your prayers.
