As an athlete, what is your motivation?
To be the best player on the field and leave a legacy.
What defines success for you?
If I can reach the goals I set while staying true to myself and the process.
What would your teammates say about the type of teammate you are?
Hard-working and selfless.
What are some of your personal “rules” that you never break?
Family first, no cheating, no quitting, and don’t lie.
Who is the toughest player you’ve competed against during your collegiate career?
David Montgomery, because he was the hardest person I’ve ever had to tackle.
Who is the best player in the NFL?
Tyrann Mathieu, because he plays with his mind and passionately.
What is your team of choice on Madden, why?
Chiefs, they’re my hometown team.
Failure is inevitable in life. How do you handle situations that don’t go in your favor?
I learn from failure. I try and use it as a tool to make myself better.
Is there a current/former NFL player that you model your game after?
Nobody in particular. I do watch film and try and learn alignment, technique, etc.
Knowing what you do now, what would you go back and tell yourself as a High-School Freshman?
Enjoy the time you have with your friends and family.

Chipotle or Fuzzy’s.

Alexander the Great, so I could find out what gave him his edge.

How much I was able to make others better by positively impacting their lives.
