Did you play any other sports growing up? If so, what were they?
- Basketball, track, wrestling.
Who is the toughest player you have competed against in College?
- It’s hard to say because as a running back there’s no 1 person I go against every play.
Are you listening to music before a game? If so, what?
- Yes, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, and The Game.
Do you have any superstitions before a game? If so, what are they?
- No real superstitions.
Who is your role model & why?
- My father, he is the perfect example of hard work, and dedication to my family.
You are a Finance major. What made you pursue that subject?
- My uncle works in the finance world and we are really close, and it seemed interesting to me.
While in College, what has been your favorite & least favorite class?
- History was my least favorite, and business law was my favorite.
Outside of Football, what has been your favorite experience while in College?
- Meeting and become friends with so many different people, outside of the football team.
Growing up, who was your favorite NFL Team & NFL player, & why?
- The Eagles, and Terrell Owens. I just gravitated to them as a child, and Terrell Owens work ethic and passion caught my eye.
If you could be in any movie of your choice, what would it be & what character would you play?
- Training Day, I would be Alonzo because that’s my favorite movie and character of all time.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who are they?
- LeBron James.
- 50 Cent.
- Jay Z.
If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose & why?
- Martin Luther King and I would want to ask him how tough it was to not fight back and keep himself level headed.
Who is your favorite superhero & why?
- Superman, because he can do anything.
What is your definition of hard work?
- After doing the workouts asked by coaches putting in hours of extra work daily when nobody else wants to.
What is the most unexpected lesson you learned while in College?
- College friends are going to be my lifelong friends, rather than high school friends.
What is something you wish you could go back & tell yourself as a High School Freshman?
- School is more important than you think, and to take it more seriously.
Why do you wear #1?
- No particular reason, I just wanted a single digit and I felt it was a good fit.
What is the best part of your hometown, Holbrook, NY?
- Joe’s pizza around the block from my house.
Who do you choose, Jordan or LeBron?
- LeBron.
Are you a PS4 or Xbox One guy? What games are you playing right now?
- Xbox one and I haven’t been playing too many games lately.
What has been your most memorable moment as a student-athlete?
- Winning the conference championship my redshirt sophomore year.
If you could have three wishes granted, what would they be?
- I’d wish that nobody in the world was homeless, to be able to see my mom one more time and world peace.
What is your hidden talent?
- I write lefty but play sports righty, and can do many things with both.
If there is a book written about Malik Pierre, what is the title?
- Behind the smile.
What are three things on your “Bucket List?”
- Travel the world.
- Live in a different country for more than a year.
- See the pyramids in Egypt.

- Dexter on Netflix.
If you had one free hour each day, how would you choose to use it?
- Spend it with my family.
If you could run over one NFL LB, past or present, who would it be & why?
- Ray Lewis because he’s the best linebacker my generation has seen.
What are the goals for 2018, both individually & for the LIU Post football team?
- Individually I want 2,000 all-purpose yards, and as a team i don’t want us to lose a single game.
If you could give NFL scouts three words to describe the type of man they are getting in Malik Pierre, what would they be?
- Dedicated.
