Who is your role model, and why?
My Mom is my role model. She is my beautiful queen. Raising me on her own she showed me how to be strong & how to be a fighter because life is hard. She is my rock. I wouldn’t be the hard working young man I am now without her by my side.
Who was your favorite teacher?
I’ve had many teachers who helped me out during my schooling so picking one to me wouldn’t be fair. A lot of teachers played a big part in helping me reach my goals.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
I played basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis & ran track
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
I wouldn’t say that I’ve faced a tough player but I have played against some tough defenses.
Who is the most underrated player on your team?
John Diarse
What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?
Pastor Troy- No Mo Play in G.A
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I’ll say AJ Green. He is my favorite WideOut. I try to model my game after him. He is smooth, great route runner, strong hands, a game changer & just an all around great wide receiver.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
I’ve faced many obstacles in my life but one that probably hit me the hardest was this past season. I was dealing with a lot of family issues that hit me pretty hard. Almost losing my dad due to a heart attack & heart surgery I was in a really dark place in my life but with the help of my family, friends, coaches but most of all my faith in God really got me back to myself. I was able to overcome it all with faith in God & with love and support.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I don’t have a pre-game ritual I just listen to my music and vibe out.
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?
I don’t have a play but one of the most memorable moments was going out as a winner with my brothers & sharing that moment with them was priceless.
What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?
I’ve volunteered at homeless shelters, worked with kids at boys & girls clubs. I love kids and I enjoy working with them. Teaching or just working with kids is something I want to do after football.
