I never had just one song that I would listen to, but I usually always listened to the Beatles before games.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I like to compare myself to JJ Watt because of his versatility. I feel like I can line up anywhere on the defensive line.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
The biggest obstacle I faced was probably tearing my ACL shortly before my junior season. I overcame it by grinding through rehab, sometimes twice a day. And I couldn’t have done it without the help of my wife and family.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I threw up before every game but that was involuntary. I’ll still count it as a ritual though.

Probably catching a 2 point conversion against Sacramento State. That or bull rushing a double team for a sack against Cal.

We went and helped at a local youth correctional facility a few times and played football with the kids there. That was always fun.

My wife, my daughter Norah, and my son Samson.
