Report: NFL says removing a flag from an NFL helmet is not permitted
So today a report from Pro Football Talk came out asking if the NFL would punish a player if they in fact removed the flag from the back of their helmets. Well the answer is here according to Pro Football Talk, the league will not let it go down.
League spokesman Brian McCarthy told Pro Football Talk, that players are not permitted to remove the flag decal that appears on the back of every player’s helmet.
The NFL cannot stand when their is not uniformity, which is probably why this would be a factor. It will be interesting to see what Colin Kaepernick does tonight when his team faces the Chargers.
