Mike Ditka has a strong message for Kaepernick; Get the Hell Out the Country
Mike Ditka is an interesting character, and a legend in the NFL. He is however a vocal human being. The Hall of Fame tight end was talking this morning with with Shan Shariff and R.J. Choppy on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas/Ft. Worth, when he was asked about Colin Kaepernick.
They asked him about 49ers Colin Kaepernick’s decision not to to stand for the national anthem, and boy did he not hold back.
“I think it’s a problem,” Ditka said. “Anybody who disrespects this country and the flag. If they don’t like the country, they don’t like our flag, get the hell out.”
He then continued saying he does not respect Kaepernick.
“I have no respect for Colin Kaepernick,” Ditka added. “He probably has no respect for me, that’s his choice. My choice is that I like this country, I respect our flag, and I don’t see all the atrocities going on in this country that people say are going on.”
Those are some strong words from the Hall of Famer.
