Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian Jenkins was arrested for DUI
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins has been arrested by the Florida Highway Patrol for Driving Under the Influence.
Seferian-Jenkins was stopped by the Florida Highway Patrol around 4 a.m. Friday and was booked at the Orient Road Jail at 6 a.m., charged with DUI. He remained in jail at 8:30 Friday morning.
Seferian-Jenkins pleaded guilty to a DUI charge in 2013 while he was in college at the University of Washington. He was arrested in March 2013 and was a second-round draft pick of the Bucs in 2014. He is now in his third season with the Bucs and caught a 30-yard touchdown in the Bucs’ season-opening win at Atlanta.
He refused a breathalyzer test during the traffic stop.
Seferian-Jenkins was booked into the Orient Road Jail at 6 a.m. on Friday.
His bond has been set at $750.
