Buccaneers have signed TE Alan Cross to their practice squad; Place Jacquies Smith on I/R
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made some roster moves last night according to Greg Auman and Ian Rapoport. The first move made was the Buccaneers signed Alan Cross the former undrafted free agent from Memphis to their practice squad. Cross originally made the team’s 53 man roster but came up short after a few injuries.
The team also had to place pass rusher Jacquies Smith on the injured reserve after he suffered a serious knee injury. Smith was a beast for the Buccaneers, and this is a huge loss for them. Hopefully they can find another pass rusher. Greg Hardy is available, but will the Bucs bring him in, or will they let Noah Spence take over?
The Bucs are signing rookie tight end Alan Cross (Memphis) back to their practice squad. Made initial 53, waived due to injuries elsewhere.
