Blaine Gabbert is considered the huge favorite to win starting job
Colin Kaepernick was a pretty amazing quarterback under the guidance of Greg Roman. When Greg Roman was let go and went to the Buffalo Bills, Kaepernick fell apart.
Now Kaepernick is not even viewed as a starter in San Francisco. A matter of fact Blaine Gabbert is the favorite to start in San Francisco.
That said, Blaine Gabbert is an enormous favorite to be the 49ers’ Week 1 starter. It’s what Jed & Trent want.
